We are a premier chamber choir based in Sussex, United Kingdom. Each year we perform in a number of public and private concerts, generally in the South of England. We have also undertaken overseas tours to Europe and the USA. We rehearse weekly in either Haywards Heath or Lewes.
New Sussex Singers appoint new Music Director
NATHAN WARING is a Sussex-based freelance composer, pianist and organist and is much in demand as an accompanist and conductor of orchestras and choirs.
His compositions have been performed in a variety of diverse locations from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Holes 2016) to the Royal Festival Hall (Remembered 2015). Nathan is proud to be published through Chichester Music Press and SMP Press, and his choral music continues to be performed in cathedrals and churches across the UK and Europe.
As a conductor, he has worked with the English Chamber Orchestra, Norfolk Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra Anglia, as well as singers from the The Sixteen, The Monteverdi Choir, English National Opera, Royal Opera House and Glyndebourne. He has also worked with some of the foremost composers of today in preparing and conducting new works, including Patrick Hawes and Will Todd.
